Need assistance with assembling a new PC? Let me guide you through it.
Set up a fresh PC using Windows via USB, but when you connect an Ethernet cable it doesn’t appear, and troubleshooting reveals the system can’t locate the network adapter driver. As someone completely unfamiliar with PC construction, you’re feeling confused.
Visit the manufacturer's site for your motherboard and download the network card driver. Insert a USB drive or similar, install the file on your PC, and restart. NOTE: Before starting, open Device Manager, right-click the network adapter and select Update Driver.
You should have connected the Ethernet cable while installing because it requires network access for certain updates. If Oshino Shinobu's advice isn't effective, try reinstalling Winblows and then link the RJ-45 to your motherboard. Good luck!
