So… a while back I assembled a brand new, one-of-a-kind PC from the ground up. A short while later, it experienced a severe shutdown, making my inputs unresponsive and forcing a restart. I didn’t give much thought at the time, since my drivers weren’t updated (something that would come later), but it froze again on the same day. Now it’s been stuck at least three times daily, with only about three hours of use per day. There’s no odd RAM activity or overheating issues. The specs are: CPU 12400, GPU Intel Arc A750, motherboard B760M, steel legend Wi-Fi, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 8x2 GB SSD, SolidGen P44pro, 512GB drive, X3 mesh case, and an ASUS PB287 4K monitor. I play Civilization 6 and Kerbal Space Program 2 at low settings; oxygen isn’t included.

And the PSU is a 550-watt thermal unit—every part is brand new.

Remove all GPU drivers, reinstall them, verify for updates, test with a single RAM stick in one slot.

Certainly, for now if it fails again, I'll let you know.
