In the AC revelations you take on the role of Ezio when he's older. Missing that part creates a significant gap. The title REVELATIONS also doesn’t reveal much, right? ^^
You may omit AC3 but it's recommended to listen to Revelations.
Actually, you take on a completely different role in 3..., and the tale with Desmond isn't that significant in AC:R. Also, skidrow crack? Are you sharing copyright material? Wouldn't it be better to purchase the original then, since the AC3 story is really crucial and understanding what happens to Desmond matters for the events in Black Flag.
Check out the CoC on the Assassin's Creed saga, make sure you don't miss any of the key titles... The main ones like AC I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations and III will cover Desmond's journey... It might get a bit long but it's important... Enjoy every game...

You should definitely plan for a new Rig if you want to buy Unity—it really feels like a total mess.
I own a solid setup: 4th Gen Pentium G3258 with 8GB RAM, 1866Mhz processor, G.skill MSI GTX 760 Factory OC, and MSI Z97-G45. I plan to upgrade the CPU once Brodwell-K is no longer available.
The issue is happening when you try to open memory from fragments, causing the game to crash. The files need to be moved to the correct folders and not touched. Let me know if you need further help.
