It's a solid choice at its price point, not lagging behind high-end CPUs like the 13900k. The 7600 offers great performance with just a 65W power draw and a stock cooler. It should significantly boost your gaming experience compared to an overclocked 9900k. I expect it to be an excellent build and you'll likely be thrilled. For long-term value, consider a better motherboard than the MSI Pro A620M-E—it might struggle with newer CPUs because of inadequate VRM design. While it could cost a bit more upfront, you'll save later. The ASRock B650M Pro RS is often recommended for budget builds and can support 7800X3D or even 9800X3D models.
