I question that strongly. Those sites often appear untrustworthy. Could it be buying something for him, giving it as a gift, and then receiving payment later? One of my friends is using this method to obtain TF2 items.

I purchased it for him, but I realized you need a Steam Guard account for 15 days. He’s only had it for 3, so he should buy it himself.
