Need assistance with a bluescreen? Let me know how I can help.
I’m experiencing the dreaded blue screen of death with the message WHEA_INCORRECTABLE_ERROR. It seems to point toward a hardware issue, though I’m still unsure which component is failing. This only occurs when the system is under heavy load—like while playing games such as World of Warcraft. Here are my hardware details and some Windows error logs. Although this tech is quite old, it’s currently in my possession for now while I prepare for a replacement. It isn’t related to overheating; I haven’t noticed the CPU exceeding 63°C or the GPU surpassing 70°C. Something seems to be malfunctioning but I can’t identify it. Thanks, -Ninjasupahsquid
It seems the problem might lie with a component you have, but you can’t pinpoint it without more details. The best approach is to replace parts and re-test, use memtest to check for memory issues, remove any unused drives except Windows, test with different RAM sticks, and consider getting a spare GPU if needed. Since your hardware appears outdated, it may not last much longer, but narrowing down the cause will help you proceed effectively.
I can't post or display images directly, but I can describe what the blue screen typically looks like so you know what to expect.
That motherboard has a newer bios available. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-...rt-dl-bios Also, check your drivers with IObit Driver booster. Here's the latest chipset driver: https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/...psets/780g Check the RAM with Memtest86+. WhoCrashed is also a tool which might help.
