I recently received a student license from my school to install Autodesk software on my laptop or desktop for use whenever possible. However, I’m only managing to get Inventor Pro to start, while other programs like 3ds Max, Maya LT, Revit, AutoCAD and Mudbox keep failing at the initializing stage. They don’t show any error messages—they just hang there without progressing. I’m unsure what might be causing this issue. I haven’t tried downloading any of these programs yet, but I plan to do so soon to confirm if the problem is specific to my desktop. All the software I’m trying to install is covered under my Secondary School license. Thank you in advance for your assistance—I really appreciate it.

You're wondering about installing the trial version and using the license key there. It seems you want to test it first before committing to the full product.

You're certain you're getting the "education" editions of these tools? I've already saved them and they're working perfectly for my FRC robotics projects.
