I was looking for that earlier, noticed the socket was 2066 (mopre pins), and wasn't sure if a 1155 power supply would fit. I wondered if switching to a different cooler would help before swapping CPUs. Will the NZCT Kraken X72 work with that setup?

No, I didn't use isopropyl alcohol to remove the old thermal compound. The AIO block is securely fastened onto the CPU.

Avoid this setup; start with a big air cooler like the Noctua NH-D15 or Dark Rock Pro 4. Fewer components mean better reliability.

They suggested it might be the cooler not functioning properly, but they can't verify it, so I'd need to replace it.

Air cooling is preferred over hydro because it avoids potential damage from water exposure and simplifies maintenance.

Run a quick check by placing your hand near the pump to feel for any shaking. Absence of vibration could indicate the pump isn’t working. Verify all connections are secure. It looks like you’re still learning—water coolers tend to have many moving components, making troubleshooting trickier. For air coolers such as the Noctua NH-D15 or Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4, the only parts in motion are the fans; if the fan isn’t spinning, that’s a sign something’s wrong.

The audience is energized and when I make contact with the wires, I sense a pulse probably from the flowing liquid.

Attempt to gently move the CPU block to observe its position. It shouldn't shift.
