your cpu clock appears in the bios on your motherboard, but it's consistently showing 4 ghz instead of the expected 800 mhz. you changed the psu to check if that was the issue, but it didn't resolve it.

Ensure power reaches the CPU 8pin connection. You might want to focus on the CPU socket and RAM next. Consider re-flashing your BIOS or updating it to a newer version. It seems the issue began a few weeks ago, but it functioned well before that with correct clock speeds.

All correct settings worked and the different power supplies didn't affect things. My BIOS is completely current.

You’ve already replaced the CPU, so most of what remains is testing your RAM individually. Since one stick failed after just six months, this issue seems unusual. It’s a frustrating situation, and I understand what you’re going through.

Ram could have definitely tried, but it wasn't enough to fix the problem. Luke might be at fault.
