The specifications were updated after the 2.5 Gbps release. Cat5e supports 2.5 Gbps, while Cat 6 can reach 5 Gbps at its maximum length. Did your modem include a 2.5 Gbps port?

It seems TP link remains the top choice, and I’ll likely keep my original hardware due to the deals available. I’ll check out Google, though I’m not sure it can compete with TP link’s options. Thanks!

I'm unsure about this. I'll check it out. To verify, I'd need to lower my rig two floors and install it. It's the only port with a 2.5Gbps connection I have.
