i recently upgraded to an amd ryzen 7 3700x with 8 cores and noticed better performance during demanding tasks. it’s slowing down when playing cpu-heavy games like starfield, so upgrading seems necessary. i have a nvidia rtx 3070 and am using the gigabyte b350m ds3h wifi cfg board, which is on an am4 motherboard. i’m looking for the best option that fits my setup.
The 5700X3D fits the AM4 socket well for gaming. Upgrading the whole system might be cheaper with a bundle offering a 9700X, for instance.
