I decided to bypass AMD's memory speed restrictions after a suggestion from a friend. I checked the BIOS settings and discovered an option that seemed promising. Now my computer starts up, but external devices like the keyboard light up and there’s no display at all. I need to figure out how to fix this setup.

It seems the file wasn't saved properly. Could you confirm the details or try again?

Turn off your CMOS settings, usually there’s a switch or jumper for this—check your motherboard manual. Or, shut down the device, remove the coin cell battery from the board, let it sit 15-30 seconds, then reinstall it. This will reset the BIOS to its standard configuration.

Reset the CMOS. Were you activating XMP or merely adjusting the frequency to 3200MHz?

Once the CMOS is reset, you can check the QVL for your motherboard to find out if your RAM is officially certified at that speed. Activating XMP/DOCP might allow the RAM to operate at its intended rate without causing performance problems. My understanding of 3rd generation Ryzen is limited, but on my 1700 I had to adjust the SOC voltage and DRAM voltage to ensure my 3400mhz RAM worked properly.

Clear the CMOS then configure the SOC to version 1.1 with a DRAM density of 1.35. Set the system to 3200 MHz using XMP/DOCP enabled. After boot, run memtest86 or OCCT to verify stability. Ensure your RAM is installed in slots 2 and 4.
