Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm facing a problem with my 4070 laptop's GPU. When I run a game, it crashes and then fully black screens for about ten seconds. In the Event Viewer, I see multiple events with ID 0 saying "nvlddmkm was not found." After reinstalling Windows and using DDU, the issue still persists. Someone suggested it might be a GPU hardware failure, but I don't want to believe that since the laptop is brand new.

I’ve faced many issues with faulty equipment, and I only have one day left before the return deadline. My mom is getting frustrated because I’m repeatedly sending items back.

I encountered a problem with an older 10700K model. It kept warning about the GPU not loading properly and using full power for the IGPU. You might want to try setting a different BIOS priority instead of using igpu.
