Hey everyone, this is my debut here—I’ve been using Reddit mostly before. I own a prebuilt OMEN PC equipped with a 3070 Ti and an i7 11700 at 2.5GHz. Here’s the link to my setup:

When I first got the PC, it performed great for a while, but it started to lag over time. I could consistently reach around 120 FPS in most games, except for NPC-heavy and large open-world titles like GTA 5 Online (with 10+ players), Cyberpunk, Borderlands 3, and even Payday 2. Based on these experiences, my FPS generally falls between 50-80, 30-100+, 40-120+, and sometimes up to 60-120+.
I usually play with low to medium graphics settings and no ray tracing. With my machine, I don’t think I should be experiencing such low performance in these games. My PC is also quite dusty, which keeps the CPU around 80-95°C (depending on the game), but from what I’ve heard those temperatures shouldn’t be a big problem unless it hits 100°C+, and I use it about twice a week for an hour each time (maybe that’s why? Or just overthinking).

Use DDU to eliminate all GPU drivers from your system, then reinstall the newest ones from Nvidia's support site via an elevated command—Right click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
Please note that my computer tends to get quite dusty, which causes the CPU to heat up between 80-95 degrees Celsius.
You might want to clean the PC of dust to help maintain lower temperatures. Performance drops aren't just from corrupt OS or drivers; they can also stem from thermal limits. These temperatures are far from ideal, ideally staying around the high 70s Celsius. What are your room's ambient air temperatures? Try removing the side panel or front panel and observe if the temperatures decrease. If they do, it suggests poor airflow is the main issue.
I downloaded DDU and installed the drivers manually through nvidias website. I'm planning to clean the dust soon because it's late. I took off the side panel and checked the CPU and GPU temperatures using the Omen system vitals, with the panel on and off. When the panel was on, my GPU temps were in the mid to high 40s and my CPU was between mid 50s to high 60s. With the panel off, the GPU stayed steady at around 33°C and the CPU fluctuated near low 50s to 60s. This test was done while having YouTube and Discord running. I don't know the exact temperature in my room, but it's not much warmer than the rest of the apartment, probably a bit warmer by 1-2°C. Thanks for your help! As I mentioned before, I'll try to clean the dust later.
