You're looking at an MSI Z97 Gaming 5 with DDR3 support. You currently have two 4GB sticks at 1600MHz, but you're wondering if you can get more or consider a new M.2 SSD. It's worth checking if an upgrade is possible, though it might depend on your specific needs and compatibility. Let me know if you want more details!

To boost memory capacity, increase the RAM. For enhanced processing speed and additional memory, switch to a Ryzen processor.

I'm in favor of adding another 2x 4gb DDR3 1600 RAM. Look for the same amount of RAM you already have if possible. Switching to Ryzen will cost a bit more since you'll need to purchase the CPU, motherboard, and RAM, but it's worth it if you can afford it. Ultimately, it comes down to your needs and whether the performance meets your expectations for the system.
