You're experiencing a refresh issue when switching between monitors. To maintain the correct resolution, you can adjust your display settings or use software that supports resolution persistence. Try saving your current monitor layout and switching back later, or configure your OS to remember the resolution. If needed, use a tool like DisplayFusion or PowerToys to manage monitor settings.

Umm... Can you try to explain in other words? Are you trying to strech some windows across 2 monitors with different resolution? Is that software windowed or fullscreen? Or are you having two monitors with same resolution and another keeps losing set resolution?

I adjust my primary screen and tap the secondary display—it updates its settings automatically.
