Low profile ram (suitable for D15) is usually around 31-32mm, meaning you're about 8-9mm taller, with a little extra space. It will be snug, but it should fit well. A bit tight when the side panel is reattached, yet not overly so. *edit* wasn't very clear in their explanation. The fan is positioned roughly 5mm above the low profile ram, so between that gap and your extra height, everything should work. You probably only need to lift it about 2mm. The fan can also be placed directly on top of standard-height rams.
