I looked into the error shown in the screenshot related to APC_INDEX_MISMATCH (0x1). The explanation is available on the MS website. The typical reason for this issue is when a file system or driver has an incorrect order of disabling and reactivating APCs. You can fix it using WinDbg or basic troubleshooting methods. Hey there! No need to stress too much—just upgraded all my components because I heard prices will keep climbing for the next couple of years. I went with an AM5 upgrade now instead of waiting, so I won’t waste more money in a few months. Thanks for the Micron support. My new parts are: CPU, RAM, power supply, graphics card, and motherboard—check out this link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cfPm4p. The motherboard is still on its way; Amazon pushed it back by a week. I found a First Edition Corsair Corsair Dominator Titanium 6600 64GB for just over retail at $360 on Facebook Marketplace. The regular edition is selling for $950+ online. It was a bit nerve-wracking because I thought they might charge three times what it should be. I’m still trying to figure out which part of the AM4 setup isn’t working, so I can safely use the rest or resell it later. My latest troubleshooting: I installed the Ryzen 5 3600 and a 5080 Founders Edition. So far, I haven’t seen a full blue screen, but Windows freezes when I push the settings to max on OCCT. The default settings are fine. I’m planning to create a fresh Windows 11 install on a separate SSD partition. Running the same test doesn’t freeze it, but max settings do. It seems like the problem might be with OCCT or something else. Right now, I’m just going to have to troubleshoot and see if the new Ryzen 7 works smoothly with the new Windows 11. This is really tough to figure out!
