Hi all Hope you are all well. I have a 2019 Lenovo Legion laptop with a Ryzen 4800h Rtx 2060 16gb ram 3200hz 256gb + 1 TB ssd. My issue is as soon as I turn my laptop on the CPU is running at 0.38ghz. Temperature is good Tried a fresh install of Windows Checked and adjusted power plans. Updated bios. Disconnected cmos battery. Disconnected battery and run on just the charger. Updated all drivers and this issue persists. When I googled the issue yhere were various reasons that I have tried addressing with the above but 1 that I can't get around is Bd_prochot. Intel CPUs can use throttlestop but there is nothing like that for the cpu in this laptop.is there a way i can check if its Bd_prochot Do you guys have any other suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

Review the bios for any AMD powerplay configurations or comparable settings. If present, invert its value and attempt a new configuration. Your actual temperatures are displayed in software using hwinfo, which often uncovers additional sensors not visible in other programs, particularly in pre-installed systems.

Thanks for your input. In Siliconmagic Bio there are no AMD power adjustments. The temperature stays around the 40s and doesn<|pad|> to not reach high levels since I’m not applying much load.

Access the control panel, then navigate to hardware and sound. Under power options, choose high performance if available. Next, go to settings > system > power and set the power mode to Best Performance, though the exact label might vary based on the manufacturer's setup.
