Hi, I have a few themes ready for you. You’d like to switch from using the video card power cable to having the power supply inside the case. You’re okay with using a soldiering iron and have some 24-bay and 48-bay options that work well. Eventually, you want them to run on their own power source as well, starting with the ones you saw in pictures.

It seems like a great opportunity for a NAS or server setup. Since your case doesn’t appear to have a board, there should be ample room for a power supply—either a standard ATX or a compact SFX. I recommend positioning it near the back center (between the two fans) to minimize disruption to airflow and keep power cables manageable for all drive bays. Let me know if you need further advice!
