Still, if the reviews are positive, it’s okay. You could compare the prices of the V PCIe 4 drive with the PCIe 3 one. Even though your board would reduce it to PCIe 3 speeds, I assume you’d still have it when you build again.
Make sure to verify the cooler’s height against what your case can handle, since it’s quite large.
