Hello, your Lenovo IdeaPad FLEX 4-1470 has 4GB of RAM installed. For this model, you should consider RAM modules that match its specifications—typically 4GB or 8GB DDR3L or DDR4. The optimal size depends on your usage: 4GB is sufficient for basic tasks, while 8GB will offer better performance for multitasking or resource-heavy applications. Check the manufacturer’s recommendations for the best fit.

I attempted crucial as my initial choice, but it lacks IdeaPad Flex 4 and only offers 3s and 5s.

It seems you're checking your current setup. You can verify what's installed by looking at it directly or using a hardware monitor tool to see details. If you have two slots but only one stick, consider getting a matching 4GB stick. For more RAM, you could purchase two 8GB sticks that are compatible.
