Hello
I’m working with 3D and planning an upgrade to an i9 13900K and RX 3090. I’m deciding between two inverter options: one with 1400 watts and another with 1000 watts. If I already had the system installed, I’d have checked the output, but it hasn’t been done yet and the inverter needs to be ordered now.

The price difference between the inverters is significant, so I don’t want to overspend. Also, in the 1000-watt model, the battery capacity isn’t 100AH—it’s around 150AH or similar. My nephew suggested a kilowatt would suffice, but AI estimates my setup will use about 800 watts and exceed 1000 watts when loaded.

My point for the kilowatt option is that 3D software, even Vray or Karma, doesn’t load both the processor and the card simultaneously at full capacity. On the other hand, there are other factors like the monitor and other peripherals that also draw power. The real question is whether someone with a similar setup could test the maximum load and report the results, or if there’s someone who has already done this.

There’s no room for theory here, so I’m not depending on AI’s answer. I’ve decided to check this forum because there might be people who can actually measure these values in practice.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Initially, I wouldn't go after an i9-13900K because of the oxidation or performance problems Intel has faced with the 13th Gen and 14th platforms. Also, because of the intense power demands of the RTX 3090, it was recommended to choose a 1.5KW PSU that is well-built and stable.
Make sure to do your own calculations so you understand the right PSU size needed for your setup with an RTX 3090.
