Ray tracing is enjoyable yet causes significant frame drops. The RX 6800 can handle some ray tracing, though not as smoothly as the 3070ti. Meanwhile, with many new cards offering 12 or 16GB of memory (except budget models), the 6800 might still serve you longer.

The process is straightforward; skipping ray tracing, using VRAM almost everywhere, while ray tracing isn't an option. There are also recent titles that encounter difficulties with cards limited to 8GB of VRAM at higher settings. This significantly impacts performance, and these issues are expected to intensify in future games.

I wonder Have you forgotten that there are RTX 50-series options too? Such as the RTX 5090, which surpasses the RTX 4090 in performance. For example, Ray Tracing speed; 4K performance; Source: The RTX 40-series is already outdated.

Additionally, the RX 9000 line is no longer available and has largely replaced the budget high-performance segment.

This AI bot is quite old, but since no one can afford one except by paying a lot to a scalper, we shouldn't even discuss those rare cards. Also, even if you manage to get one, the terrible 572.xx Nvidia drivers will probably make it unusable.

You upgraded your RX 5070 XT to an Nvidia 3070 Ti. How did you handle the drivers? Did you remove AMD-related software using DDU and then install the Nvidia driver? If so, which version of the Nvidia driver did you use? The newer 572.xx versions are known to cause many issues, so some developers suggest reverting to the older 566.36.
