Hey Captains, I hope you're not too busy to lend a hand. I know the quick fix is to upgrade components, but could you take a look at my current configuration? Maybe adjusting the GPU's power settings or checking which graphics options are causing lag would help. Details: PSU is Corsair VS450, GPU is "INNO 3D GeForce GTX 750ti Overclock" (as labeled), RAM is 8GB DDR3, HDD is 500GB. I'm struggling to keep my FPS above 50 in DotA 2, especially during fights where it drops to 36-38. Any suggestions on overclocking methods or tips? I’m really hoping for some advice. Thanks in advance!
Use Afterburner, increase the clock speed gradually, and observe for crashes. Also, overclock a potato remains true to its identity.
Check if the core voltage setting in MSI Afterburner is fixed and not adjustable. You can't change it.
It seems like you're referring to a voltage issue on your card. Could you clarify what you mean? Are you experiencing a problem with charging, connectivity, or something else? I'm here to help!
I've been playing Dota for a while now, but a GTX 750TI gives me a decent FPS. Cleaning up your system with CCleaner and using Malwarebytes might help. The numbers could also be due to a driver problem. If you want better cards, go with the RX 470. Good luck!
It seems the settings are currently greyed out in MSI Afterburner, possibly due to your 750ti Overclock edition. The ideal toggle range isn't specified here, so you may need to check the manufacturer's documentation or support resources for precise guidance.
