Hey guys, I was thinking about getting some assistance with overclocking my gear. I watched a video and tried to follow along, but I’m using an Asus motherboard which has different settings compared to the Gigabyte one I have. My setup includes 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM at 3200MHz, a Ryzen 5 2600, and a Gigabyte Aorus Pro. I attempted to push the CPU to 4GHz and the RAM to 3200MHz, but the PC wouldn’t boot properly, so I’m holding off on changes until someone helps me. I also have an Arctic Freezer 34 Esports duo, which should keep things cool enough for 4.2GHz.

It seems you're aiming to gradually increase your frequency. I suggest beginning at 1.35v with a 3.9ghz setting, which should be suitable for Ryzen 2000 processors. After completing a stress test using OCCT for 15 minutes without issues, try the 4.0ghz setting. If that fails, return to 3.9ghz and reduce voltages progressively. Continue this process, eventually aiming for at least 30-minute stress tests, with a minimum of 8 hours of testing before your final sessions.
