I own a TP-Link Archer C7 v2 that’s showing some signs of wear, needing a weekly reboot. I’m considering upgrading to a newer TP-Link router. I’ve looked at the Archer C90 and Archer A9, but I’m not sure if they’re really different. My main question is about the processor—do these models differ in that aspect? I haven’t found much direct comparison, so any insights would be really helpful.

What I found is that the A9 is available only through online sales while the C90 can be purchased in physical stores and online. There’s also a single forum comment mentioning it, but it might not reflect current availability. Beyond that, both models appear to support the same software and features according to TP-Link. I’d recommend choosing the cheaper option unless you notice something else missing.

Both versions will be identical, but each is tailored for a distinct region or market. Choose the more affordable option based on location.
