The school's model is an i7-10750H 6-core, 1650Ti, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD for $2000, but I'm considering the AMD 4800H 8-core, 2060, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD for $1600. I'm unsure if Intel offers similar options or if one is simpler than the other. What do you think?

It appears they’re aiming for profitability. I don’t know your budget, but I bought the Rog Zephryus G15 for $1500 CAD ($1100 USD). It comes with a 4800HS, 1660Ti, 16GB RAM, and 500GB SSD.
