Hello, I own a new MSI laptop (MSI GE75 Raider 8SG). It seems to function properly overall, but sometimes the game freezes briefly—about ten seconds in the middle of play, which is frustrating for FPS games. It came with Norton antivirus and other software. Could this be the cause? Or is it due to a graphics card issue, requiring a return or replacement? In Apex Legends, the mouse movement works but walking isn’t possible, and after ten seconds it seems to reset to where I started. That’s unusual. Any advice would be appreciated.

You didn’t encounter issues on your other device with the same internet connection. To identify the problem, try checking your network settings, restarting your router, or testing a different internet source.

It appears you're dealing with audio settings. I disabled the window sound for Sonic headphones, but it doesn't work now.

Check Ethernet first; install drivers and Windows updates.

The issue appears to stem from faulty network software. Enhanced audio streaming detection was implemented. It's unclear if minor tweaks improved performance, possibly by better handling data or prioritizing sound. Disabling the feature seems to resolve the problem.
