NBA 2K16 promises to be an exciting game.
Choosing between PS4 and PC, I’m thinking about getting both versions. One for modding and another for the larger player base.
PC, I think we were both really excited last year, right? You were probably the same university student as Shabazz Napier—though it’s a shame he moved to Orlando, he had great talent.
It's quite the contrast! Honestly, it boils down to personal preference. I dedicate a lot of time to NBA 2K and FIFA, never feeling uninterested, even after years of play. I stay engaged until new versions arrive, and recently I'm still wrapping up some projects from 2005. With the latest consoles, 2K has expanded its RPG features significantly. The games now offer fully voice-acted scenes, branching dialogue options, and more. Ultimately, it depends on what you enjoy most. While I find titles like Battlefield, COD, CS:GO, and JRPGs such as Final Fantasy boring, I'm willing to invest hundreds of hours in games like Skyrim or Witcher.
Observing paint dry can be quite dull, but sports aren't for everyone. If basketball wasn't on my radar, I wouldn't really connect with 2K in the same way. The same goes for other things—some people just don’t get it. I’m curious about the surge of Japanese novel-style games, though; they clearly have a following. That’s the fun part of gaming now—so many options mean there’s something for everyone.
