It's been this way with me and 2k13. The myplayer feature just doesn't work well. When I commit a foul, I lose a whole level. If my team had better stats, they'd be in the top tier. When someone makes a mistake, points are deducted. Sometimes the ball goes out of bounds, and I end up jumping on someone who shoots, getting a bad block. I think I should let them off the hook and give them credit for scoring. Even though I made a 3-point specialist, I struggled with it because the training was too limited. I can't get good points from that kind of play since the game doesn't reward it well. (Maybe I'm not good at the game after all, but the tutorials are misleading.) The 3-second penalty feels frustrating—losing a whole level over unclear rules is really annoying.

I won’t proceed from C to D+ due to that terrible issue, and honestly, the beginning might improve.
