I’m not sure if this forum is the best fit, but I’d really appreciate any assistance you can offer. If there are suitable places to share this issue, it would be very helpful. Last night I entered my Windows key and it functioned for a short time. The installation completed, I began the setup but had to finish configuring the Ethernet connection, which required running a cable from upstairs during the middle of the night. Looking back, I should have finished the setup and connected the Wi-Fi chip earlier. When I reached my computer later, the 32-bit files were missing. I understand what’s happening but don’t know how to fix them. In the Advanced Options menu, I’m prompted to enter a password for “defaultuser0,” which doesn’t exist because it’s an automatically created account. It keeps looping back to ask for that password whenever I click on any option. The reset option is available but it’s disabled and displays “Update could not be completed” and halts midway. My main questions are: How can I access administrative mode without being logged in? Is there a workaround? I believe using the F6 key and entering safety mode might let me input a command to bypass it, though it’s currently blocked by the default user. The first step would be to obtain this sign-in sheet. Does that sound correct? Feel free to send any links or screenshots of loading screens if this has occurred before.

It seems the optimal choice is to try the installation again.

It seems you're ready to proceed. What would you like to do next?
