Hi everyone, I'm searching for NAS solutions that support Windows 7 or Linux. This would let me keep running Blender and X-Plane alongside other applications on the same machine. Since I'm setting up a new build, I want flexibility to install additional software. I've checked available options but haven't found any that allow full OS installation while still letting other programs run. Let me know if you have suggestions! Thanks, Kieran
You'd likely prefer platforms like Proxmox for managing a NAS setup. You can host a NAS4free, FreeNAS, OpenMediaVault VM, and assign it RAID controllers or multiple partitions for storage. Other VMs can then handle different tasks.
