Hey everyone! Has anyone tested the technical preview of Windows 10 on their NAS devices? How does it perform compared to Windows 8 or Windows 7? I'm thinking about setting up a NAS soon and plan to use Windows 8.1, so I'm curious about the differences.

It's generally not recommended to run a beta operating system on a device you rely on for critical data.

considering a client OS on a file store... what happens if you require over 16,000 simultaneous connections? Be honest, it should function identically to Windows 7, 8, 8.1—just possibly with some settings adjusted in the control panel. Share and NTFS permissions will remain in the same areas, so follow the same steps.
