Hi, I own a 256gb steamdeck and have put on a brotect anti glare screen protector. It looks great with no dust or bubbles all around. But when the computer gets hot while playing games, the screen peels off. I swapped it out for another one and had the exact same problem. I tried to ask if anyone uses a screen protector that doesn't come loose, but this is normal? Thanks so much.

Does this item come from Valve and have official approval for the Steam Deck? If no, then problems happening because you aren't using an official version are expected.

Thanks. I don’t think there is an official screen protector. I wanted to know if anyone else was having the same issue because my one becomes very hot on the top right side of the screen which is why it comes off.

Does it actually make sense if we don't have one? Many modern gadgets like smartphones come with a built-in screen protector already. Think about your phone having Gorilla Glass 5 glued right to the glass, which means you don't need anything else to protect it anymore. Since the Steam Deck is pretty small and super powerful, getting hot during use is totally normal. There are some special screen protectors that stick really well and can handle high heat without melting or failing. These ones are designed for phones that stay cool or live in very hot weather. But if you just need a bit of protection on your Steam Deck, the normal stuff might not be enough because it's meant for regular phones that don't run as hot in places like this.
