While playing Rocket League I can observe the current and minimum frames per second. My FPS stays between 240 and 230, while the lowest I've seen is 20 to 40 FPS. Occasionally it drops to around 10 and I capture a screenshot showing it at 5, but I'm unsure how to attach the image. I think this is why my gameplay feels choppy, even though my monitor is 240Hz. I don’t have any other programs running at the same time, so it’s hard to pinpoint the exact cause.

cpu/gpu temperatures and performance during the game? The brand and model of the 750w psu are as follows. I'm seeing 65.8 C for the CPU and 75 for the GPU. My power supply is a Powerspec 750w 80 PLUS GOLD unit.

Could you clarify what might be behind the problem?

"minimum fps" doesn't matter much.
When it hits 20fps during the first half-second of monitoring, it doesn't affect your overall gameplay.

I'm using a 2tb hdd with over 600 gbs installed. My RAM stays at around 64% usage. The smooth performance seems to be due to the low minimum fps, unlike other systems that struggle with that setting.

It's been this way most of the time. I haven't seen my lowest point go above 60 before.
