My required minimum frames per second is quite low, yet the actual FPS I'm observing remains constant.

While playing Rocket League I can observe the current and minimum frames per second. My FPS stays between 240 and 230, while the lowest I've seen is 20 to 40 FPS. Occasionally it drops to around 10 and I capture a screenshot showing it at 5, but I'm unsure how to attach the image. I think this is why my gameplay feels choppy, even though my monitor is 240Hz. I don’t have any other programs running at the same time, so it’s hard to pinpoint the exact cause.
which storage option is better and how much space they consume?
how much memory is used while playing?
"minimum fps" doesn't matter much.
When it hits 20fps during the first half-second of monitoring, it doesn't affect your overall gameplay.
It's been this way most of the time. I haven't seen my lowest point go above 60 before.
