Are there any recommendations for a fresh keyboard? You're open to mechanical options and don't have a brand preference. I find the Razer Blackwidow V4 appealing, but the Corsair K70 Pro fits well within my budget. I'm planning to spend around $100 to $150, aiming for something durable that lasts. I'm still deciding between my current K70 and what I'll get next.

It's really challenging to recommend a specific keyboard since personal preference plays a big role. For example, I'm currently using Corsair Strafe RGB with Cherry MX Silent switches. Unfortunately, the G key stopped working for me (I had to reprogram it) and I was also searching for a new keyboard. I already owned one, but it's no longer supported. Then I considered getting the Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2, which I bought for my partner some time ago, but by now it's also EOL. 😒

After thinking carefully, I ended up purchasing the Corsair K100 RGB. My new keyboard hasn't arrived yet (likely this week) and I'm unsure about its condition or feel. Plus, it's outside your budget as well. Oh, the K100 RGB I bought has the new Corsair OPX switches (linear), but I'm not sure how they would perform.

For one thing, the register distance is half that of Cherry MX switches—1mm compared to 2mm—and the bottoming out distance is reduced to 3.2mm instead of 4mm. The force applied to the keys remains the same as Cherry MX Red/Silent at 45g. In terms of noise, OPX seems a bit louder than MX Silent, but I don't have a real test keyboard yet.
