This appears to be a helpful resource for configuring Rust settings. Remember that you’re operating at 1440p resolution, which will typically result in a frame rate reduction of approximately 20% compared to running at 1080p.

I've completed everything, but my frames per second remain fluctuating between 60 and 80. Adjusting graphics settings doesn't alter this issue at all.

Running at 80 frames per second with a resolution of 1440p using a 2080 graphics card appears to be a suitable configuration. Could you provide links to videos showcasing individuals achieving higher frame rates at 1440p resolution?

After reviewing BF5 performance metrics, your results at 1440p with an RTX 2080 are accurate. Achieving 110 frames per second at that resolution is excellent.

I'm just starting out; how do I adjust this, perhaps within the game itself or through the application settings?

Despite adjusting my display resolution, I'm experiencing identical frame rates.

Update:

In Rust, altering settings has no effect; the performance remains consistent.

Rust’s gameplay is often inefficient, implying that outcomes tend to be straightforward and predictable.

Within the Nvidia control panel, under 3D settings, ensure that Vsync is disabled.
