I recently assembled my PC, but it won't power on. The only occurrence is the PSU emitting a faint electrical noise. It happened at an electronics store earlier today as well and functioned properly then. I've been working on it for nearly three weeks now because I overlooked purchasing an SSD during the initial build, leaving the case unused throughout. I assumed this wouldn't cause any issues but wondered if it's problematic.

Begin by examining the guide thoroughly.
Confirm every installed part is compatible and properly set up.
Proceed methodically through each step, reviewing everything you’ve done.
Power off, unplug, and open the case.
Verify that all components—cards, connectors, RAM, jumpers, and case wiring—are securely positioned.
If the CPU remains, leave it in place temporarily.
You might try gently removing or reinserting parts one by one to see what works best.
Avoid forcing anything, especially during a fresh build; what feels snug may not be.
You may find that certain connections snap into position more smoothly.
Initially, install only the intended boot drive.
Also pay attention to the warnings on page 29.
Front panel connectors (page 36) can be tricky—inspect them closely for correct pins and connections.
