I finally installed Windows 11 Pro, but I'm really disappointed now. I thought I saved all my apps when the system asked me, but many things like Firefox and Thunderbird are missing. When I tried to open Firefox on the desktop, it showed up as an old version that can't be found. Maybe I still have a way to go back to Windows 10 if I don't like this new one. Honestly, reinstalling all my programs is really annoying.

That's exactly why you should always keep copies of your files handy.

Use Macrium Reflect to make backups so you don't have to go through this mess again! I'm using the free version, and it works just like my needs require. Just as a test, I did clean installs on two desktop PCs running Windows 10 Pro. After downloading and installing the daily-use programs—like browsers, Microsoft Office, and trading apps—I got everything working the way I wanted it to work. Then I used Macrium Reflect to make backups of both systems. My goal was to see how well it backed up my hard drives and how fast it could restore them after setting things up. I didn't want to wait too long just in case something went wrong later or if the PCs got used for a while. So, I wiped the hard drives clean as if starting fresh. After that, I followed the printed steps to restore my drives using Macrium Reflect plus the USB stick you need for it. And there we go! It worked perfectly, and I was back up and running with all programs installed right away after the backup started. It was flawless! Now I do a weekly backup on my two desktops and my wife's laptop too. You won't make mistakes using Macrium Reflect to save your system or hard drive. I thought other programs might work like this, but I tried Macrium Reflect for the first time and it worked great. I was really happy with the results. The paid version has more options, but the free version works just fine for me right now!

You know me better than anyone else...thanks so much...but I'm still pretty sure I can get my old Windows 10 back in just a few days. Do you have any idea how long it takes or what steps I should take to bring up all those programs I used? Please, help me out here.
