I own a 1440p display at 165Hz, even when using low brightness or maximum settings. The same issues persist when I reinstall the PC's clear driver. RAM tests show no problems, but the SSD remains unreliable. Updating the BIOS to F64 resolves the issue after uninstalling and reinstalling for about 10-20 minutes. A full performance test runs smoothly for 20-30 minutes. While games stutter during playback, they run at around 100fps on AMD Adrenalin.
Reducing settings only increases strain on your CPU, which caused issues with my 3400G and RTX 2060 before upgrading. Once I upgraded, performance improved significantly and benchmarks ran smoothly because the stress was balanced across CPU and GPU. If you monitor your FPS drops using Rivatuner, it shows your CPU is restricting GPU performance in games—overclocking won’t help much.
I own a Ryzen 5 5600, but you can upgrade to models like the Ryzen 5800X3D if you have funds available.
