Greetings,
I've struggled for quite some time to determine the optimal video settings for streaming Fortnite at 720p with a frame rate of 60fps. I frequently experience noticeable input lag or occasional pauses within the game, leading me to believe something isn't quite right.
Here’s a breakdown of my computer specifications:
* Ryzen 7 1700 processor
* Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti graphics card
* 16GB of 3000MHz RAM
* Internet connection with a download speed of 200 Mbps and an upload speed of 12 Mbps.
Could you offer some guidance on suitable settings that won’t negatively affect my gaming performance? Thank you.
This configuration should run smoothly.
Could you share your preferences? As Gamers Nexus recently showcased in a new video, the distinction between low and high settings is minimal.
I experimented with x264 previously, and it felt sluggish with a noticeable input delay on my mouse, prompting me to switch to nvenc. While this improved the experience, my streams appeared grainy and unstable, though I believe my processor should have sufficient capacity for streaming. However, the input lag discouraged me from continuing with it; currently, I utilize nvenc new at maximum quality and a 6000 bitrate setting.
