My PC speed goes down when I put an SSD into a specific card slot.
I just put a brand new SSD in my second slot, which is a Crucial 1TB P3 PCIe NVMe M.2 2280, before I even turned it on and things were going super fast above 250 fps. Now every single game has dropped frames. Even though the SSD is empty yet I put games back in my old SSD model - Dell G15 5515 with Ryzen 5 and an RTX3050 with 16GB of RAM, the new one shows low fps even when they are on the old one too. I don't have any hard drives left and I updated all drivers and reinstalled the games but it's still a problem
Welcome to the forums! Did you check if you updated the BIOS on your laptop before putting in the new SSD? Also, please take a look at the operating system settings, Device Manager tab, and make sure you don't see any yellow warning signs showing up there.
