When I begin using my Lenovo c260, it shows only the Lenovo logo and does not function properly. What is the issue? Please clarify.

this situation might stem from faulty hardware or incorrect BIOS/harddrive configuration.
possible issues: hard drive, CPU (mainly temperature concerns), power supply, RAM, any device connected, mouse, keyboard,...
attempt to boot using an ubuntu live environment
install ubuntu onto a blank usb flash drive and start from there
