3080ti
32gb ram
windows 11
Recently my games have been acting strange, I get high FPS but keep feeling like it’s stuttering, especially during intense moments like in Destiny when many things happen at once. It consistently lags.
I recently replaced my graphics card with a 3080ti, thinking it might be the problem, but after reinstalling drivers, the issue persisted. I cleaned the installation and even validated the files, but it’s still happening.
Temperatures are normal, CPU between 65-75°C, GPU around 70-80°C.
I’m still confused.
3 distinct hard drives are planned: one 500gb NVMe for the operating system, two 1TB SSDs for gaming. Motherboard BIOS status uncertain. Corsair 1000W included.
ssds have over 250 gb remaining
cpu temperatures range from 65 to 75
gpu temperature between 75 and 85
ram usage is 16 out of 32gb
ssd performance during gaming (1-5%)
240hz montior at 1440p resolution
supports games such as destiny, valorant, apex, or warzone

These are digital games. What kind of internet connection do you use? Is it stable?
When it began, you should have performed a system restore to a point before the issue occurred. For example, if your GPU driver kept crashing, restoring to a stable state resolved the problem.
Maybe something went wrong with the windows or another app, forcing a poor update.
You might try using system restore to bring things back to when everything was fine.
The restore area will have a tab for going back to an earlier page you can choose.
To monitor thermal throttling, run hwmonitor during games.
Check the maximum CPU temperature.
If it hits 100°C, you might have briefly slowed down.
Are you running multiple tasks while gaming?
With 32GB of RAM, memory shortage seems unlikely to be a problem.
Look at the task manager, resource monitor, memory tab, or hard fault rate.
Any value above zero could indicate a problem.
