I recently constructed my gaming PC approximately one year ago, and over the past three months, I've experienced frame drops in Fortnite. While I can consistently achieve 200-250 frames per second playing solo, my framerate significantly decreases to 50-70 fps when multiple opponents are present in the game area. I find this a frustrating issue. My system specifications are as follows: Nvidia GTX 1060 OC 3gb, Intel i5-6600k 3.5GHz, HyperX 16gb ram 2400MHz, and Windows 10 64bit.

Excessive movement of objects requires significant CPU processing. Increasing your CPU speed through overclocking or upgrading to a 5GHz model will improve performance.

Thank you for your response.

What central processing unit do you recommend?

I also conducted a UserBenchmark test and discovered that both my CPU and GPU were exhibiting performance issues. What steps should I take? Should I adjust settings, or is a replacement necessary?
