I chose to clean my PC because it kept freezing or going black after just 15 seconds of use. It wasn’t running a game or under load. I hadn’t made any changes, as I’d been at school and everything was functioning properly yesterday. The keyboard and headset RGB lights were on, the fans were running, but the RGB was off (though it never was). I got it refurbished from Best Buy.

Make sure all parts are properly inserted, especially the power cords. Unplug the PC completely before turning it off. Secure the RAM firmly in its slots. Inspect the main power cables first, then move on to less critical ones such as fans and RGB components. You can locate helpful YouTube tutorials for this process safely.

Yes, turning it off should not damage your PC.
