I increased my i7 7700k to 5GHz at 1.290v, which feels unusual compared to another source that mentioned 1.395v. I understand overclocking varies for everyone, but my voltage feels low for a first time, and the temperatures are high—reaching 85°C, which is much higher than the 75°C mentioned earlier. I'm using a Corsair H115i liquid cooler and an ASUS ROG Z270F motherboard.

use cpu-z or similar tools to check the voltage consumption, it's possible the CPU is drawing extra power to maintain stability. if not, run an AIDA64 stress test for at least an hour to assess heat levels. don't worry if it reaches around 80°C, as long as it's not sustained for a long time you won't damage the CPU. i'd be concerned if it consistently stays at 80°C or rises into the 85°C range.
