I believe GTA Online offers the worst experience you could encounter in an online game—constant hackers whenever I log in, frequent connection issues, and a poor community atmosphere (based on my own use). In contrast, GTA 5 singleplayer stands out as the top singleplayer experience I’ve ever had. It features impressive vehicles, boats, and planes, and it provides a vast sandbox environment that lets you do almost anything you imagine, from jumping out of a cargo plane with a car to crashing a plane into the city.

I finished the story and my enthusiasm faded. I can still visit for an hour to explore the city, but it seems there are very few engaging activities available. Do you feel the same way, or do you think there’s more content out there that I’m missing?

OMG this is a thread of people that have SEEN THE LIGHT! I <3 you all lol So many people try to argue with me and say GTA:O is bug free, no modders/hackers, etc. and I'm like are you sure we're talking about the same game? The story was amazing. Enough so that I played it on 360 first and got it for PC as soon as it came out on Steam (for linear games, I NEVER play the campaign twice especially in such a short span of time). The multiplayer on console was a little buggy but I tolerated it because it was fun. But of PC.... Load times in lobbies take decades (console was long but PC is ridiculous in comparison) Modders in free roam are abusive and ruin the game for people Horrible servers Heist, while fun story-wise, require 4 people so, after waiting until you're gray in the hair, one person loses connection (because of the crap servers) and the whole group gets kick from the lobby. A modder turned my player skin into a C h r i s t m a s t r e e while I was in free roam and I'm still traumatized

I really enjoy the solo gameplay (completed the main story multiple times now), but online I either play alone or with friends—not with random players. Rockstar's emphasis on online while overlooking single-player features is damaging my perception of the studio. All the new online content they add seems excessively costly and feels like a calculated profit move (shark card sales).

I played it today, modified my bank account, and purchased the yacht. You can use it as a home, spawn there, and even add protection for extra flair.

No real-life friends who play GTA5 are really a waste of time.

I just began playing GTA V and have some observations. The game is technically solid, runs smoothly, and looks impressive with few issues. Online performance is inconsistent, and loading times tend to be lengthy. Story missions are entertaining, and the narrative was engaging. However, the characters came across as flat, and the cutscenes seemed forced rather than meaningful. Overall, single-player remains enjoyable. Multiplayer feels like a poorly maintained free-to-play game, especially given its price point. The progression requires significant grinding, which pushes players toward purchasing in-game currency. There are also many cheaters operating with little oversight on servers. After playing for a couple of hours and spending time exploring, I’m likely to encounter a cheater that disrupts the experience for others. A recent update has improved things somewhat, but it still feels incomplete. Modders aren’t the issue; the real problem is the cheaters—often called hackers. Please avoid negative labels for modders.
