I assembled my PC yesterday alongside a friend, and everything worked fine. The system specs include a Ryzen 7 7700X, RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB GDDR5, a Gigabyte B650E MAX GAMING WIFI, an 850W power supply, plus a Bonze and an X2 1TB Kingstone. The build is solid and should handle all games smoothly. I played Minecraft with shaders and mods without issues. However, Fortnite performance dropped significantly—from 200/220 FPS to 19/20 FPS—and it would stutter unexpectedly. Similarly, Valorant’s FPS fell from 1000 to 20, which is quite noticeable. My monitor is an MSI G255P E2 at 180Hz, but I’ve tested other setups and still encountered the same problems with these games.

Which is the precise RAM model? Performance metrics like speed, latency, and stick count significantly impact CPU gaming results, leading to the stutters mentioned.
What is the specific PSU model you have, and how recent is it?

Here are my CPU results
https://valid.x86.fr/qr78di
I have a Cosair Vegance from Amazon, 32x2GB dual channel with around 5200 MHz.
My PSU is a ThermalRight TR-TB850S 80 Plus Bronze 850W and it's brand new.

Check if the cooler is fully secured around the CPU.

I once owned that specific RAM package. It has two issues: 1) it runs at a low speed for a DDR5 model (5200 MHz) and it suffers from high latency (CL40). A RAM setup like this will hinder your CPU’s capacity to render frames sent to the GPU, leading to reduced average frame rates and stuttering.
I switched to a 6000 MHz model with a CL30 latency. It significantly improved performance. If it feels a bit costly, consider a 32 GB (16x2) configuration instead of a 64 GB one. You don’t require 64 GB for gaming.
Here’s an example of the RAM you should consider:

It costs $115 on amazon

To achieve 1000 fps in Valorant with those specifications, this CPU would likely cause a bottleneck around 450 fps. With an 180 Hz monitor, running at such a high frame rate is ineffective—it might slightly reduce input latency but probably doesn’t improve it significantly. It mainly forces your GPU and CPU to work excessively, leading to screen tearing. You should keep your frame rate just under 180 fps or turn on V-Sync for better results.

Are you certain the GPU is handling the game? It might be because the game runs on the (iGPU) built into the processor, not on the NVIDIA card. This could explain the significant decrease in frames per second.

Can you check if there are any visible signs before you start opening the case? I thought HWMonitor looked normal.

I'm using the pc for university and I need 64gb ram for some virtualization or other tasks. Are you certain these micro stutters are due to the ram? Because in my laptop they don't happen and I use a Corsair RAM too. Valorant isn't like an exigent game, I don't know.

The range increases from 700 to 1200 and I mentioned earlier that I experimented with frames using MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner, but it didn't help much, the microstuttering persists.
